E L Greening & Sons is a Tavistock based family firm of builders
which, since it was established in 1931, has been committed to
providing good quality homes. The firm has gained an excellent
reputation for the standard of its workmanship, use of traditional
methods of build, first class materials and the fine finish of its
products. The high-achieving company has won the Heritage Award and
is a member of the National House Building Council and the Federation
of Master Builders. Being Tavistock based, who better to provide
homes for Tavistock people than E L Greening & Sons? And this is
precisely what they're doing at Daleswood, an exciting and prestigious
new development of seven detached residences with really spacious and
versatile accommodation on four floors, exceptionally high levels of
specifications and stunning views.
The development is set on a gently sloping site on the outskirts of
the town and the houses look rather like bungalows from the front.
It's not until you go down the side and to the rear that you realise
how large they are.
Let's take a look at one sizewise. At lower-ground-floor level we
have a 19ft-square sitting room, and a good size snug. On the ground
floor is an 18ft dining room, a modern 10ft fitted kitchen, an 8ft
utility room and access to an integral garage with a remote controlled
door. Then up at garden level there are two double bedrooms and a
well appointed 7ft square bathroom/wc and a fourth double bedroom.
Specification includes an impressive choice of 25 kitchens with a
range of worktops including polished granite, grey slate flooring and
a plethora of top quality appliances including a tall 50/50
fridge/freezer, a dishwahser with four programmes that can accommodate
12 place settings and a stainless steel cooking range and extractor
hood with two lights and three speeds.
The fully tiled bathrooms have contemporary white suites with
chrome fittings, there's a choice of 11 surrounds for the stylish
sitting room fireplaces. The panelled interior doors are in oak with
superior furniture and gas fired central heating, double glazing and a
NACOSS approved security system have been installed.
Outside, balconies, raised walkways, decking and external steps are
in natural timber, private driveways are brick pavioured, front and
rear gardens will be landscaped and every home comes with a NHBC
Buildmark warranty.
Two of the seven fabulous new homes, built to an extremely high
specification, in an ancient stannary town location, with superb rural
views, have already been sold. A further three homes are in the
process of being built and all are priced at £365, 000. They're being
sold through Stratton Creber (01822 616133).
